"Official" Communications
(April 16, 2007)
We are told in Galatians that the purpose of the law was to lead us to Christ.
Communication with political officials served the same purpose for me. I'm not aware of
anything positive which resulted from it except pointing me (and
perhaps others) to Christ. Yet only that result made the experience
worthwhile. The school of secular politics is like the school of hard
knocks. The teaching is excellent, but the tuition is very high. When
we are faithful to what we understand to be our calling, it will be
used for good, even when it is not the best means available.
If
you are in the school of secular politics, I advise you to be a
conscientious and honest student. Don't try to cause trouble for the
teacher or the principal.
Included below in chronological order
are some writings from the time I spent in the school of secular politics.
They are here for what they are worth to other kingdom seekers.
Perhaps they will also serve to indicate that what I say regarding the political arena is
not said naively or flippantly.
