Emotional Bonding

Emotions provide the energy (heat, strength) which bonds or welds rational thoughts to the conscious or subconscious soul. To break that bond at a later time, or to replace the bonded thought with an overpowering thought, requires an emotion equal to or greater than the emotion which forged the original bond. The heat required to break a weld must equal the heat needed to form the weld.
Governing thoughts are acquired at times of great emotion, and retained until the emotion is equaled or exceeded. Thoughts which become embedded at a time of war are perhaps retained by most people, or their children, until the next war. Only the Spirit of God has more power than the Satanic forces which are unleashed in times of war.
